21-valent Pneumococcal Conjugate Vaccine (PCV21)

Take an Early Step in Pneumococcal Disease Prevention

Pneumococcal infection can lead to serious illnesses including pneumonia, sepsis, meningitis, and acute otitis media (middle ear infection). While the risk is commonly associated with older adults, increasing age, having certain chronic conditions, weakened immunity, and/or certain lifestyle factors may also increase the risk of pneumococcal infection.

CUHK Medical Centre now provides the 21-valent Pneumococcal Conjugate Vaccine (PCV21) self-financed vaccination service as an additional option for adults aged 18 or above.
