Statement: Beware of Scam Calls

CUHK Medical Centre (CUHKMC) was recently notified by the public of a deceptive activity, where phone scammers, impersonating CUHKMC, requested personal data from the public for collection of medical documents or for some other reasons. CUHKMC has reported the case to the Police and hereby reminds the public that, unless under the circumstances that CUHKMC has to contact patients via phone in response to enquiries made, CUHKMC would not make any phone calls to the public requesting their personal data. Members of the public should stay vigilant and when in doubt, call our Call Centre (Tel: 3946 6888) or the medical centre/unit concerned directly.
