Robotic Surgery Subsidy Scheme

With the generous support of Liu Yung Chau & Chen Yuan Rita Charity Foundation, CUHK Medical Centre is pleased to launch the Robotic Surgery Subsidy Scheme. This initiative aims to assist patients in receiving surgeries using the locally developed Sentire® Surgical System. Subsidies will be offered to  200 patients who receive surgeries using the Sentire® Surgical System at our hospital, with the goal of advancing smart healthcare development in Hong Kong and enhancing the patient experience.

    Subsidy for 200 patients who receive surgeries using the Sentire® Surgical System at our hospital:

    • Subsidy Amount: HK$20,000
    • The subsidy will be directly applied to reduce hospital charges for robotic surgeries

    Remarks

    • The subsidy scheme (“Scheme”) commences on December 2025.
    • Due to the nature of subsidy, the Scheme has a limited quota and is offered on a first-come, first-served basis.
    • Subsidy is only applicable to the hospital charges of robotic surgeries. It does not apply to doctor's fee (fees for surgeon/physician and anaesthesiologist), and items and hospital charges not covered by the relevant surgery.
    • CUHK Medical Centre Limited reserves the right to amend any content (including, but not limited to, any of these terms and conditions) set out herein without prior notice. 
    • Participation in the Scheme constitutes acceptance of these terms and conditions. In case of dispute, the decision of CUHK Medical Centre Limited shall be final and binding.
    • The Scheme and these terms and conditions shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region.
