About the Centre
In response to the escalating demand for joint replacement treatment and the challenge of prolonged surgical wait times driven by Hong Kong’s aging population, CUHK Medical Centre (CUHKMC) established the Joint Replacement Centre, dedicated to providing patients with timely and appropriate care. Patients can progress from initial consultation to surgery in as fast as two weeks*, significantly shortening the wait time and swiftly relieving joint pain to restore daily living.
The orthopaedic team at CUHKMC actively integrates cutting-edge medical technologies, such as robotic-arm navigation, to deliver comprehensive, one-stop services spanning diagnosis, minimally invasive surgery, and rehabilitation. We value every individual patient, offering personalized treatment plans and streamlined clinical pathways to determine the most suitable care. Our goal is to help patients alleviate joint pain, restore joint function, and reclaim a high quality of life.
*subject to actual appointment availability.
